RTG was established in 1986 by Jane Knowles and ran, for many years, from Winterbourne House in Reading. Our aim has always been to provide quality CPD and networking support for local clinicians interested in psychotherapy. Over the years "Local" has become "Regional" as our membership has grown. We maintain the homely, low key welcome that RTG has always offered. We encourage discussion and always welcome input and feedback from members, encouraging them to take an active role in what RTG does and becomes.Membership and Benefits
Membership years run from 1st Jan to 31st December and entitles you to free entrance to 8 evening events; reduced rates at workshops and the opportunity to network with other professionals. As a group we believe it is vital for professionals to have contact with other professionals.
Members may advertise placements, room hire/share, research, groups, events, courses, employment opportunities and other relevant notices on the RTG Noticeboard. These will be circulated as part of our e-flyers to our mailing list sent out to advertise the next talk. Further details can be found on our Events & Notices page.
We continue to offer a non-membership fee for those who feel they want to try out the RTG Programme or just attend one or two of the talks during the year. Non-members can pay on the door when they come and admission is £10.00 per person per evening.
