Chair's AddressDear Colleagues,Welcome to RTG renewal flyer. Hope you agree that we had many interesting and thought provoking CPD events in 2025. We are excited to go into 2026 - our 40th anniversary, and have put together a fantastic programme which we hope you will find exciting (see below). Our main focus remains on organising quality, low cost CPD events in the area as well as keeping strong connections within our local therapeutic community. CPD events are provided by many organisations and are easily accessible online. However, people tell us they still find our local events valuable. Many of our speakers also said how much they enjoyed working with our group that is willing to engage and learn. This year we welcomed 4 new members to RTG Committee who have taken new roles. We are very grateful to Anna Hermann, Kerry McKeagney, Margaret Taylor, and Sara Whittaker for joining us with fresh energy and enthusiasm. Our long-standing treasurer, Jo Marsh, has stepped down. We are sorry to see her go but very grateful for her contribution to RTG over the years. Ann Vodden, who consistently provided us with CPD certificates, has also stepped down. We are very grateful to her too. You can read more about the Committee on our website. If you’d like to help running RTG, please contact one of the Committee members. Our membership remains diverse in modalities, qualifications, experience, places of practice, etc. We hope our new programme reflects that and will appeal to our diverse audience. We hope you like it and choose to join RTG. We will continue with our evening events online but will plan our two Saturday workshops in person. We decided to slightly increase our fees that we were unchanged for 11 years £50 early bird, £55 afterwards. We believe it still offers great value giving free access to 8 evening seminars as well as a discounts for workshops. This increase will allow us bring more quality presenters from further afield and offer them a respectable fee for their presentations. In return it will reflect well on professionalism of our organisation. We have also decided to increase the payments for individual seminars to £12 from the 1st January2026. To join please use our environmentally friendly Application Form. We look forward to seeing you in 2026. Katrina Likhtman Chair of RTG |
